Just realized it was made as a icon or a signature which would have to be smaller for obvious reasons but my question still remains. Ive seen people put out wallpapers for really low resolutions.

Really cool image but I have a question as I am not in anyway an artist. Is it harder to make images in 1920 by 1080p? In order for it to not look ugly  by simply blowing it up do you have to do more work to make things look nice? Really like the image of your and a lot of others from Deviant art but I can never use any as background becuase they are all in a much lower resolution than my screen (1920x1080p) Is it more difficult to make a picture in a higher resolution and simply ahve that resolution lowered to wahtever is needed on a indivusla basis instead of blwing it up and losing quality?
Honest question and no offence in your choice of resolution, really curious though has how an artist considers this element of art.

Yes, I make signatures also, and sometimes I also make "large pieces" or "wallpapers", but they're a lot of work for something that doesn't come out pretty at all, atleast, in my opinion.
Keep in mind that the resources we use, the c4ds, the textures, the lightning effects & abstract shapes, the renders, they are made for "signatures", so for small sizes. There will only be a few useable resources out there with a size big enough to use for a 1920x1080p wallpaper. And on top of that, having few resources also means you don't have many effects/stuff to choose from. My wallpapers always look dull, imo, they're not as flashy/special as my signatures. In my signatures I can put a lot of details in a small space, but with wallpapers, I can't. Wallpapers, imo, feel forced to make and I'm never happy with them. I do know a few artists who make wallpapers, but they're always really empty and nowhere as special as the signatures they make.
